Our generation, Gen Z, is often named the "iGeneration," stereotyping us as mere phone-obsessed procrastinators. However, we are 18% more likely than past generations to be diagnosed with anxiety disorder, and 23% more likely to be diagnosed with depression. Many of us are also budding activists, bringing forward conversations that have never before had a place in our society. While our future may seem treacherous, we have the power to create real, lasting societal changes, sparking yet another stigmatized conversation: that of our own mental health.
We are proud to be a member of the Simply Neural Network, an international coalition of nonprofits. Other nonprofits related to neuroscience, mental health, and numerous other interdisciplinary topics are included. Please visit the SNN website below!
